This could have been the perfect bag, but the strap is uncomfortable on my 6'1-200lb frame. I'll have to send it back and wait for Incase to make a version with a longer padded strap area.
First and definitely not my last incase product.

Absolutely the best macbook pro bag you can get. I was looking at jack spade bags and various others and finally decided to buy the sling pack. After opening the package when it arrived at my house I was stunned by its modern sleek look but worried that I made a mistake by purchasing the sling instead of the backpack, until I put it on. It is actually quite comfortable and sits easily on your back. There is plenty of space and it holds the entire range of apple laptops, even my 17 inch Macbook Pro.

This pack is really sweet! Its comfortable and has ample space for accessories. When I first ordered it I didn't believe that it would be so roomy, but I must say, upon arrival I was pleasantly surprised.

Honestly. My MacBook Pro 17" rides in complete comfort to and from work every day. Even when I ride my bike the Sling Pack works great and keeps my stuff in place. I love the pockets and the places for everything; blank CD/DVDs, an extra power supply, cords, compact mouse, and even my documents are stowed away safe and sound.
When I first read about this case I was concerned that it wouldn't fit my large frame (6' 250lbs.) but it fits perfect with adjustment room to spare.
The only thing that could possibly make this pack better would be some reflective strips/patches built-in to the back. When your riding a bike every little bit of visibility helps. I'm not talking about ruining the lines and look with bright orange, but some nice black or grey reflective strips would be a welcomed addition.

As a college student, I needed a case that...
- will last a long time (I'm perpetually broke)
- allows me to carry my MacBook, one or two school books, and a couple laptop accessories
- is sleek, not bulky like other laptop cases, and
- is comfortable to wear/carry
I found it all in this case. Also, the diagonal strap doesn't put extra stress on my shoulders.
I don't recommend this case to large-framed individuals, however; I'm quite petite and find it comfortable, but my boyfriend is rather large and the case causes minor discomfort for him (due to the diagonal strap across his broad chest).

This is the best compromise between size and function i have ever seen. It carries all my needfulls for college and is very comfortable when i am riding my bike. Lastly, I find the quality is far superior to most laptop bookbags out there.

I have been using a sling pack since it first came out. My family has at least one for each Mac. I actually use two. I have the older small one (no longer made) for daily use to and from office for my MacBook. I use the new larger one for travel so I can carry additional items.
I would highly recommend this to anyone with any laptop but particularly Mac owners.

purchased this while christmas shopping at the apple store last year for my 15" MBP. Snug fit, holds everything i need for my macbook perfecly! highly Recommended to anyone looking for adaquite protection for there MBP!!
