FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
PARRA FEATURED AS SECOND ARTIST IN CURATED BY ARKITIP PROJECT
Artistry of Prolific Dutch Artist Enlivens Incase Notebook Sleeve and Slider Case for iPhone 3G
Los Angeles - October 24, 2008 - Incase and Arkitip have launched the second installment of the Curated by Arkitip project with Dutch artist Parra. The mostly self-taught artist, who has received international recognition in both the commercial and fine art worlds, created the custom design featured on the Parra Sleeve for MacBook Pro 15" and Parra Slider Case for iPhone 3G, both available today.
ParraÕs design for Curated by Arkitip is representative of his signature aesthetic, featuring bold, hand-drawn graphics inspired by the ruckus of old cartoon fights. Known for combining bright colors and his mastery of illustrated fonts with a twist of wit, ParraÕs work is sought after by a new generation of design fanatics who appreciate his unique style that is heavily influenced by early nineties music and street culture.
Parra comes to the Curated by Arkitip project with strong credentials having collaborated with notable brands such as Nike and Alife. He has been a featured artist in publications ranging from Juxtapoz and Wallpaper to Complex and New York Magazine and continues to create work from his hometown of Amsterdam, taking only a handful of select commercial design jobs every year.
The Parra Sleeve for MacBook Pro 15" and Parra Slider Case for iPhone 3G are both available today in select Apple retail stores, better boutiques and online at goincase.com and arkitip.com.
